One Spirit. Above all. Through all. In all.
They are like trees
Planted by the streams of water,
Which yield their fruit in its season,
And their leaves do not wither.
In all that they do, they prosper
Psalm 1:3
Deep beneath the crust of earth
A single stream flows.
Refreshing, nourishing.
Awaiting connection with roots of the living
Longing to be lifted into the core of being.
Moving with bursts
Loving, hoping, healing
Currents of compassion
Seeking to be shared into many.
One Spirit without end.
Standing upon the crust itself
Trees vary size, shape and differing fruits
Sending roots into the deep.
Tendrils searching to discover
The sustenance of life.
Connecting to the Holy Stream
Abundant in giving.
One Spirit seeking, sharing into many.
Through roots of prayer
Seduction of silence.
Drinking from a living well
Trees sprout leaves of goodness
Grow fruits filled with compassion
Discover Love
Made incarnate by the flowering of the living.
Differing Trees,
Varying fruits,
Diverse faiths.
Nourished by One Source of Life
One Stream of Love.
Breathprayer:
Breathing in: Holy Spirit…
Breathing out: …sustaining us all.
Reflection: Sitting within a quiet and still moment,
placing your feet on the floor
imagine these as roots pulling nourishment
from the deep stream of the water of Life.
